Dr Pathak is an Oncologist, biotechnologist, and senior business executive currently working as the Global Head of Corporate Strategy, Corporate Communications, and Medical Affairs of a Multinational Biotechnology company with operations in US, China, EU, and Australia in the fields of cancers, hepatitis B, and age related diseases. He has been involved in all phases of drug development including preclinical/ clinical and commercialization activities. Dr Pathak has led the US and Global launch of 9 novel cancer drugs and biosimilars for the management of Acute and Chronic Leukemias, Lymphomas, solid tumors, and chemotherapy induced neutropenia.
Dr. Pathak completed his medical residency and PhD in Oncology at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi; Fellowship in Oncology from MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston: and MBA from Columbia University, NY. He has published extensively in high impact international journals on Fundamental, Translational, Clinical, as well as Health Economics and Outcome research. He received Gold Medal in Oncology at AIIMS and multiple international awards for his research including International Development and Education Award from American Society for Clinical Oncology 2006, and Outstanding Clinical Scholar Award from American Association for Cancer Research 2007. He was elected to the Fellowship of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), UK in 2015 honoring his overall contributions to health care.
Dr. Pathak has been actively involved in various global philanthropic endeavors as the founder of the Princeton Foundation for Peace and Learning. He also serves on the Friend’s Executive Committee of The Institute for Advanced Study, Princeton.
